Turn learning something into a realistic journey

Learning stalls when the only measure is hours spent. ISCEND plans toward ability: what you will be able to do, by roughly when, and what this week contributes to that.

Milestones describe ability

Holding a five minute conversation. Playing a full piece from memory. Shipping something someone else uses. Those are milestones. Hours studied is not.

The pace is yours

The plan is built from the time you say you have, not from an ideal student who has evenings free.

Plateaus are planned for

Every skill has a flat stretch. The coach recognises it and adjusts the route rather than assuming you lost interest.

What people are trying to do

  • create a realistic learning journey
  • break a learning goal into manageable actions
  • how long will it take to learn a skill

Start yours

Describe what you want to change in your own words. ISCEND asks a few questions, then proposes a route you can adjust.
